Zeequa began on a rainy afternoon in a corner bookstore — the kind with mismatched armchairs, flickering candles on the shelves, and a wall clock whose ticking felt like turning pages.
We wanted that feeling at home. Not a clock. A tiny world: a reading room that fits on your wall and keeps time between its books.
Made slowly, on purpose
Every Zeequa clock starts as a round birch frame cut in our Los Angeles studio. We route the shelves by hand, brush on three coats of paint and a matte wax finish, then fill the shelves one piece at a time: leather-bound books no taller than a thumbnail, framed paintings the size of a postage stamp, a lamp that actually glows, and candles that flicker like the real thing. The movement goes in last, the whole piece is tested for 48 hours, and it leaves in a gift box that's worth keeping.
Because each one is assembled by hand, no two are exactly alike. We like it that way, and we think you will too.
Four editions, one little library
- The Scholar — deep burgundy, our first and the one that started it all.
- The Nocturne — obsidian black, our largest and most candlelit.
- The Botanist — forest green with trailing plants and a tiny guitar.
- The Attic — warm cream and walnut, with a vintage telephone and a teapot.
Our promises
- Free US shipping on orders over $200, and we ship worldwide.
- 30-day returns, no questions asked.
- A 2-year craftsmanship warranty on every clock.
- Small editions (400 pieces each), numbered, never mass-produced.
